My 1965 VW Squareback's Upholstery is Finally Done!
I started this project the end of last year with full intentions of making a patterns out of the old seats and sewing new bangin upholstery for my hot beast. Well... after I completed the driver-side seat I was so over it! Let me tell ya, it is not fun or easy! So, I ordered pre-sewn upholstery from jbugs.com in April this year and didn't get it until 3 months later! I finally motivated myself the beginning if this month to get it done. It took me two days to complete (in my spare time) probably a total of 4 hours. Not bad at all. The hardest part is stretching it on and securing it with the hot rings.
Injuries incurred:
1 cut with scissors on index finger
1 cut on thumb with finger nail
A bunch of sore muscles!
Results:
One happy lady!
